Summer Academy Leidse Hout

The Summer Academy Leidse Hout is there for everyone who wants to develop themselves creatively.

It is a good and fun way to work with other artistic people.
For advanced students it is nice to have a framework to work within. A professional teacher can watch with you, think along with you and guide you through the process.
Have you always wanted to sculpt, paint, model or draw but never got around to it, then the Summer Academy Leidse Hout is certainly interesting for you. You can investigate which technique suits you best and make contact with others who have been sculpting in alabaster for a number of years, for example. As a beginner who paints, you learn to mix colours and develop your own palette. You also learn to look and estimate proportions so that everything on canvas falls into place.

Modelling is a good and fast way to express yourself in 3D. You develop a sense of form and get a grip on the plastic material. You can work both figuratively and abstractly.
Join in and get started in one of the most beautiful places in Leiden, a city estate of 20 hectares. The Tea House Leidse Hout (with whom we collaborate) is nearby with all the facilities that make it a pleasant stay. In principle, we work outdoors.
