Oude Toren Warmond
The Oude Toren (Old Tower) in Warmond, also known as the Oude Kerk (Old Church), is a historic ruin and former Catholic church.
The tower, which probably dates from the 15th century, stands on the site of a church mentioned as early as the 11th century. During the Siege of Leiden in 1573, the church was destroyed, but the tower was preserved. The ruins and the surrounding cemetery offer a special glimpse into the past, with tombstones of noble families and historical figures.
