Restaurant De Knip in Voorschoten has a centuries-long history in the hospitality industry, from ferry café, family getaway to today's haute-cuisine Restaurant with a Bib Gourmand award.
With its unique location, 'De Knip' was established as a café-restaurant with playground and has been operated by the Van Velsen family for almost a century and is located on 'De Vliet', a canal dug by the Romans connecting the river Rhine with the Schie.
As a tavern, De Knip enjoyed (and still enjoys) a great reputation in Voorschoten and the surrounding area.
