The X is a multicultural stage for world music, jazz, crossover and folk. They regularly collaborate with other organizations in the city, such as university departments, refugee organizations and small record labels, and participate in Kunstshot (aimed at schoolchildren). The X is run entirely by about 20 volunteers, including a lead programmer and volunteers for the technology and the bar.
